Host Your Next Event in Historic Brown County

The Brown County History Center offers unique, memorable spaces for weddings, corporate meetings, and community gatherings right in the heart of downtown Nashville.

The 14,000 square foot History Center building is located one block north of the Brown County courthouse. It is built on two levels with a wide front porch along the west side. In addition to the galleries and exhibit spaces, there is an event space on each level with ground level entry doors. The History Center is smoke free and alcohol free.

Hamilton Grand Hall on the upper level can accommodate up to 200 people at tables. It has hardwood red oak floors, vaulted ceiling, and large glass doors with a view overlooking the town of Nashville. There is an adjoining catering kitchen where ready to serve food is brought in to hold until the event. Six foot rectangular folding tables are available for use along with 200 padded wood folding chairs.

Hughes Hall on the lower level can accommodate 50 people. Chairs and tables are also available.

Events held can include weddings, receptions, family reunions or celebration of life memorials, meetings, art auctions, etc.

Inquire about availability. There is a reservation application and a Facility Use Policy page. Person at the front desk can answer questions. Please visit, if possible.
